Program Rules & Eligibility Summary

Refer a new buyer to Malace Homes and you both get rewarded:

  • $5,000 Bonus for You: When your referral signs and closes within 12 months, you’ll receive $5,000 via check or electronic transfer.

  • $5,000 Credit for Them: Your referred buyer gets a $5,000 closing credit toward their new Malace Home.

Who Can Refer:

  • Must not be a licensed real estate agent representing the buyer

  • Malace Homes employees are not eligible

Neighborhood Builder Bonus Program – Terms & Conditions

Thank you for referring a friend, colleague, or family member to Malace Homes. By submitting this form, you agree to the following terms and conditions of the Neighborhood Builder Bonus Program.

Eligibility

  • The Referrer must be a U.S. resident, at least 18 years old, and not a licensed real estate agent or affiliated with a party representing the buyer.
  • Malace Homes employees are not eligible to participate.

Referral Requirements

  • The referral must be submitted before the referred buyer makes initial contact with Malace Homes.
  • The referred individual must be a first-time customer of Malace Homes and not already in our system through another referral or contact.

Qualified Referral

  • The referred buyer must sign a purchase agreement and successfully close on a new Malace Home within 12 months of the referral submission.
  • Only one referrer per transaction is eligible. If multiple referrals are submitted, the first valid form received will be honored.

Bonuses

  • Referrer: Will receive a $5,000 cash bonus, issued by check or electronic transfer within 7 business days of closing.
  • Buyer: Will receive a $5,000 credit applied directly to their closing statement.
  • Bonuses cannot be combined with other promotional offers unless explicitly stated by Malace Homes.

Tax Disclosure

  • The $5,000 referral bonus may be considered taxable income. Referrers must complete a W-9 form before receiving payment.
  • A 1099-MISC form will be issued as required by law.

Program Validity & Changes

  • This offer is valid for homes that close in 2025, unless extended or amended by Malace Homes.
  • Malace Homes reserves the right to modify or cancel this program at any time. Referrals submitted prior to any changes will still be honored if they meet all criteria.
  • By submitting a referral, you grant Malace Homes permission to inform the referred party that a referral has been made and you may be eligible for a reward.

Note: All referrals are subject to verification. Malace Homes may withhold or cancel bonuses if false or misleading information is provided, or if fraud is suspected.

Thank you for referring your friends and family to Malace Homes. Participation in this program is subject to the terms outlined above. These terms supersede any prior verbal or written communication and are binding upon submission of the referral form.

Disclosures

To participate in the Neighborhood Builder Bonus program, both the referring neighbor (“Referrer”) and the new buyer (“Buyer”) must meet the eligibility criteria outlined below.

Referral Bonus Eligibility:

  • Buyer Requirements:
     The Buyer must be a first-time Malace Homes customer, sign a purchase agreement, and successfully close on a new home built by Malace Homes within 12 months of the referral submission date. A $5,000 closing credit will be applied to the Buyer’s closing statement at the time of purchase. 
  • Referrer Requirements:
     The Referrer must submit the referral prior to any initial contact between the Buyer and Malace Homes. Referrers must be U.S. residents, at least 18 years old, and not a licensed real estate agent or affiliated with any party representing the Buyer. Upon verified closing, the Referrer will receive a $5,000 cash bonus, issued within 7 business days via check or electronic transfer. 
  • Good Standing Requirement:
     Both the Buyer’s home purchase and all associated accounts with Malace Homes must be in good standing at the time of bonus disbursement. Malace Homes reserves the right to withhold or cancel bonuses if fraud or misrepresentation is suspected. 

Tax Information:

The $5,000 referral bonus paid to the Referrer may be considered taxable income. Recipients will be required to complete a W-9 form prior to receiving payment. Malace Homes will issue a 1099-MISC for tax reporting purposes as required by law. The $5,000 buyer credit is applied at closing and will appear on official closing documentation.

Other Terms:

  • Referrals are valid for 12 months from the date of submission. 
  • Only one referral bonus is allowed per closed transaction. If multiple parties refer the same buyer, the bonus will be awarded to the first person who submitted a valid referral. 
  • Bonuses cannot be combined with any other promotional offers or incentives unless explicitly stated by Malace Homes. 
  • By submitting a referral, you authorize Malace Homes to inform the Buyer that you may be eligible for a referral reward. 
  • Malace Homes reserves the right to modify or terminate this program at any time without prior notice. Referrals registered prior to termination will still be honored if all eligibility criteria are met.
